Waiting for the Sun is the second book in Mr. Roper's trilogy concerning a fictional collapse of the United States in the foreseeable future.Once the United States implodes many factions arise on the America scene. The lower South has become an independent Republic of New Africa. The America Southwest has become an independent Latino nation known as Aztlan. Not to be outdone the LDS church establishes the independent republic of Deseret, Texas goes independent, and the Red States of the upper South and Midwest form an exclusively white nation known s New America. Even the counties of the Florida panhandle have seceded from the rest of Florida, which becomes Hispanic, and forms the Emerald Coast Republic, which later joins New America as a disjointed member.I term literature such as this as Genolit because it always seems to involve one people trying to eradicate another. Its the same theory previous books by the late William Pierce used (The Turner Diaries, Hunter) emphasized. At least in this case its equally opportunity genocide with Latinos trying to wipe our Blacks, Texas fighting Mormons, New Africa trying to destroy the Emerald Coast Republic and everybody hating the Church of the New Dispensation lead by one Ike Huckleberry, who controls the Gulf Coast, thus earning the enmity of of Texas, the Republic of New Africa, and the Emerald Coast Republic. Even China gets in on the act when it invades California to protest the right of Chinese nationals from the threat of the newly white resurgent nation, New America.
I hope Mr. Roper's book is not prophetic. I do think we will see a Geo-political breakup of of the United States in the foreseeable future. No nation can sustain this level of debt and exist solely on a welfare-warfare basis. Add to that the demographic time bomb and even government experts are concerned now. I can only hope when it happens we can work out a more peaceful method than transpired in his books for I have no desire to genocide my neighbor, I much prefer a live and let live philosophy with voluntarily separation and independent development for all. Sort of like fences make great neighbors but on a national instead of an individual level.

Excellent book. A must read.
.Great book, easy read, and believable .
I really liked this book even better than the first one. The action and progress are very believable and I really enjoyed following the paths of my favorite characters.
After leaving us screaming for more the author once again takes on a roller coaster ride of hopes and fears as he takes us further into his vision of the coming collapse. Another excellent written page turner that gives new meaning to lyrics from nostalgia.
Waiting For The Sun Hasten The Day, Part II of the Hasten The Day Trilogy. An excellent sequel to Hasten The Day. As danger and betrayal lurks around every corner, and the law of unexpected consequences leaves devastation in its wake as all looks bleak until irresistible love blossoms changing the very borders of the world and giving new hope for the future.
As I anticipated, the second book did not have the flaws of the first. Simply a great racialist piece of fiction novel. Or perhaps a bit of prophecy? Will buy and read the third with great enthusiasm. These books are refreshingly non-ethnopluralistic. I always considered such positions lame as well as tame, and the earth ours.
A very good follow up to Hasten the day. This is the longest of the three books and we learn much more about some of the characters we are introduced to in the first book. This takes place five years down the road and if you thought the first book was exciting you are in for a threat with this book. Just as with the first book I could not put this down not a boring part in it. Filled with great quotes from White Nationalists and Historical figures. Again also we get a good dose of action and some humor and pop culture references. If you enjoyed the first book I can guarentee you will enjoy this one. Now I am off to finish the trilogy and start reading the final book Wasting the Dawn. It is great to see new books of this type of niche genre being put out.
